Today I’m talking all things bootie. (Not Booty…Bootie!!)
Cooler temps mean Fall is coming, and with Fall weather comes Fall fashion. Fall is my favorite season to dress for. There are so many practical options for cute outfits that look more polished and put together than say summer fashion, and by winter there’s so much snow here that boots without an aggressive tread are not an option. Booties are my favorite most versatile shoe options in Fall. They pair perfectly with everything from dresses, ankle trousers, or ripped up jeans. They can instantly dress up any outfit as you can see in this post here.
I have 5 style booties in my closet that I consider essential to any Fall wardrobe. So here are my 5 Must-Have Booties for Fall.
1. The Classic Brown:
Brown Suede Classic Bootie (similar)
A perfect low profile bootie in brown, can mix wonderfully with ankle jeans in classic blue or white. This light brown complements so many different outfits from light-colored dresses to maroon jeggings.
2. The Classic Black:
A similar bootie in black is a necessity because well… black goes with all things! A low heel makes these booties feel like a flat and the fun perforated detail adds some depth and texture especially when paired with opaque black tights.
3. The V-Cut:
Vince Camuto V-Cut Bootie (similar)
The fun low cut shape of a V-cut bootie looks amazing paired with a babydoll dress or circle skirt. The wide cut at the ankle slims the legs making them perfect for pairing with leg-baring styles.
4. The Wedge:
Gray Suede Lace-up Wedge Bootie, Similar Wedge Bootie
A Wedge Bootie is the perfect thing to throw on when you need that little uplift that a heel can bring. Why is it that throwing on a pair of heels just makes you feel more put together? I love the lace-up style of these wedges to add interest to the front of the bootie, and the rubber soles and thick tread make them easy to wear well into fall when it can get icy and snowy outside.
5. The Western:
If you’re anything like me you can’t resist a chambray dress (this is why I currently have 4 in my closet) or a western style boot ( because what else would I pair with my multitude of chambray dresses?) A bootie with some western accents like this fringe style pairs great with those head to toe denim looks as I mentioned, as well as your fall flannel.
Here are some others I am coveting this Fall.
