Today is a big day for us. Our oldest daughter is going to nursery school soon. As a stay at home mom, she hasn’t been away from me much so the socialization will be great for her but of course, it will be a big adjustment for all of us. Tonight is her open house so here’s an easy look for any mom to play during the day and then make two easy changes and wear out for appointments or errands.
These high waisted jeans are the perfect rise to hide a mommy tummy and allow you to pull off the knotted tee look without showing any skin.
This gray tee from Old Navy has been my favorite all summer. It’s the perfect amount of flowy-ness and is a linen cotton blend. It looks great half tucked, untucked, or knotted.
This blush open front cardigan has been a favorite in my closet for years. The length works great with dresses or pants. I find the bubble shape of the bottom to be super flattering. (Similar here) (And here)
Note the toddlers wrestling in the background… it’s a constant! I love throwing on a hat and slip-on sneakers for playing with the girls.
This teething necklace looks so chic with so many outfits and is so practical when you are out with a teething baby or toddler.
To quickly change up this outfit for going out I take off the hat, put my hair up in a mini pouf in the front to cover any hat head and switch to some cute suede booties.
The shape of these booties are great for pairing with cuffed jeans or babydoll dresses for fall and transitioning from summer to fall.
